The CODE OF ETHICS WAS due on or before August 16, 2024, signed by both parent and student. seniors that do not follow the code of conduct/senior contract may lose their activities and will not be refunded.

Contract is upheld regardless of student/parent acknowledgment

The last day to purchase a Senior Yard Sign is April 18th.

How:  Puchase at the ASB Bookkeeper.  Cash, Debit, Credit, and tap pay are all accepted.  Checks are no longer an acceptable form of payment for the remainder of the year.  

*If you purchased the Sr. Package, this item was included in the package and does not need to be purchased again.  If you are unsure if you purchased this item, please check with the ASB Bookkeeper, Ms. Patricia Hernandez.

Yard signs will be delivered to students the week of May 12th unless they arrive earlier.  

Permission Slips and Bus Sign-Ups:

All students that have purchased a Grad Night Ticket must turn in a permission slip before being able to sign-up for a bus. 

Permission slips will be available in March

Update: Bus sign-ups will take place TBD. Students may only sign-up themselves and may not sign-up or save spots for friends.  All students that have a Grad Night ticket are guaranteed a seat on a charter bus.  Bus sign-ups are simply to reserve which bus students will be on.  If a student does not sign-up for a bus, a bus will be assigned to them after May 2nd and they will be notified.

Grad Night Information:

• The following are restricted:

  Alcoholic beverages and any illegal narcotics/substances.

  Marijuana (or any of its derivatives including marijuana enriched products and medical marijuana), even if it has been legally prescribed to the student or chaperone.

  Glass containers of any kind, glass perfume/cologne bottles of any size.

  All outside food and drinks that are not factory sealed. You cannot bring fast food /drinks because they are not FACTORY SEALED.

  Smoking, vaping, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), vaping products and any other tobacco products.

Ticket price includes dinner, dessert, movie, and all activities during the event.

This is an optional event for all graduating seniors.

When: May 20, 2025 at 8:00 am

Where: Dave and Busters Ontario Mills

This is an exclusive event for JHHS Seniors and Staff from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.  Dave and Busters will open to the public at 11:00 am and the event will officially end.  However, Seniors may stay longer and the game cards are valid all day.

Cost: $50 includes breakfast, unlimited soda and water, pool tables, shuffle board, VIP access to all games.  $15 gift card good for all games that given tickets and UNLIMITED play for all arcade games for the entire day that Dave and Busters is open (until 10 PM)

Book and Laptop Return

We encourage all seniors to turn in any textbooks they are not using. textbooks can be turned into the library during regular school hours. any FUSD textbook/LIBRARY BOOKS may be returned to the JHHS Library. Turning in textbooks early will expedite your senior check-out experience.

Laptops will be turned in during senior check-out. You must turn in your laptop and charger. Reminder: remove any stickers that may be on your laptop or you risk being charged a fine for any stickers.

Last Day to Pay Fees-TBD

Seniors will not receive their graduation cap/gown until all fees are paid.

CASH, DEBIT, CREDIT CARD, AND TAP PAY IS accepted to pay for activities or fees after this date. No senior will be able to participate in graduation activities if he/she/THEY owe fees for: library books/fines, textbooks, clubs, sports, and/or other school charges.

Senior Check-Out and Cap and Gown Pick-Up

SENIOR CHECKOUT/CAP & GOWN PICKUP takes place TBD

Senior Check out will be held in the JHHS Gym. Please come to the gym at the time that correlates with the first letter of your last name.

Date TBD 6:00 p.m., graduating seniors will be honored at the at the Senior Awards Night in the JHHS Gym. This is a special evening that honors seniors receiving scholarships, grants, and awards. .

This is a formal event for those receiving awards.  Please dress formally.

Please encourage your parents, family, and teachers to attend this event. No tickets are needed for this event.

Students that are receiving an award or scholarship will be formally invited by the counseling department.

GRADUATION PRACTICES

Graduates must attend BOTH graduation practices in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. Seniors onlY. no guests or parents are allowed at practices

GRADUATION PRACTICE #1: TBD in the JHHS GYM FROM 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE THEIR SEAT FOR GRADUATION THIS DAY. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

GRADUATION PRACTICE #2 will be held at the Toyota Arena on TBD. STUDENTS MUST BE ON TIME! TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED.

The GRADUATION CEREMONY will be held on TTBD at the Toyota Arena located at 4000 E. Ontario Center Parkway, Ontario, California 91764

• Doors will open for spectators at TBD
• No outside food/beverage may be brought into the venue.
• No LARGE PURSES OR BAGS, balloons, flowers, gifts, NOISE-MAKERS/horns, or other outside items are allowed. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO RETURN THEM TO YOUR VEHICLE OR SURRENDER THEM AT THE DOOR. THERE WILL BE GRADUATION ITEMS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE THROUGH THE ARENA
• ALL GUESTS 2 YEARS AND OLDER MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ENTER THE EVENT
• PARKING IS $TBD/VEHICLE
• At TBD., all seniors must report to the backstage area of the arena and be prepared to line-up. Seniors must be in Graduation Dress Code in order to walk at the Graduation Ceremony. Seniors will be asked to open their gowns to verify they are in dress code.
• ONLY SCHOOL ISSUED REGALIA FROM EITEHR THE AWARDS CEREMONY OR THE CLUBS THEY ARE MEMBERS OF AT JURUPA HILLS HIGH SCHOOL MAY BE WORN

When decorating their graduation caps, students may include embellishments, flowers, ribbons, patches, airbrushing, et cetera. Please be mindful that they do not block the view of those sitting behind you and are secure enough to not come apart when wearing. Students must adhere to the school dress code guidelines. Caps must be tasteful, respectful, and free from profanity, hate speech, gangs, violence or references to illegal substances. Appropriate designs include those that celebrate the occasion, recognize their achievements, express gratitude, display their cultural heritage, or are a nod to their college/career plans. Any questions should be referred to the school's administration as they will exercise final judgement if the cap adheres to these guidelines.

Prohibited Items

Toyota Arena prohibits outside gifts and items during the Graduation Ceremony. Please keep flowers, balloons, and gifts in the car.

The following are not allowed inside the building, in the parking lots, or on the premises and if found will confiscated or asked to vacate the premises:

• No Bandas or Musical Celebrations allowed on the premises
• No Cultural or Religious Celebrations allowed on the premises
• No Balloons,
• No Banners / Signs / Flags
• No Confetti Cannons,
• No Flowers or Leis
• No Laser Pointers
• No Noisemakers / Airhorns
• No Selfie Sticks
• No Sharpies / Markers
• No Vendors
• No Weapons of any kind,
• Similar items to the above are not allowed within the building.
• Guests will not be permitted to bring items previously listed inside the building and will be asked to return items to vehicle
• Any item purchased from external vendors are not affiliated with Toyota Arena.

Accepted Methods of Payment

• We are a cashless venue for all parking and concessions. Cash will not be accepted.

Seating, Ticketing, Will Call

• All seating is general admission. There are no assigned guest seats.

• Guests must have a ticket to be admitted. There is no Re-Entry into the arena.

• There will NOT be a WILL-CALL at the ticket window at the arena.

• Children ages 2 and above will require a ticket for entry

Bag Policy

• In accordance with safety and security guidelines, bags and purses will be limited in size.
• Clear bags are preferred, however, wallets, clutch single pocket purses, or bags must be small, no larger than 4 in. x 5 in.
• To accommodate our guests who require a purse/bag, including diaper bags and bags carrying items that are medical in nature, such as prescription medication, breast pumps, and other special medical equipment, will be permitted if they are within 16 in. x 16 in. x 8 in.
• All bags are subject to inspection.
• Guests who require entry with a purse/bag should arrive early to allow ample time to go through the additional security screening.

Diplomas can only be picked up on Wednesday, May 28, from 8-3:30 in the Lecture Hall.  Please enter through the side door in the front of the school.  You must have a valid ID in order to receive your diploma.

At this time, Seniors that did not pay for their gold stole can return it in order to receive their diploma
